Upper Mud Springs Loop

Upper Mud Springs Loop - Mud Springs Loop is an 18 mile loop starting at the Sawmill Trailhead on Lee Canyon Road (Hwy 156). This loop can be divided into two loops, an upper and a lower. The moderately strenuous upper loop starts at Sawmill and travels for 8.5 miles from Upper Sonoran to Lower Sonoran desert terrain. Desert wildlife can be expected to make an appearance in the foothills of the Spring Mountains. There is 1600 feet of elevation gain.
Upper Showgirl Loop

Upper Showgirl Loop - This 5 mile partial loop hike has minimal elevation gain using several bike trails starting from the Juniper Trailhead located on Lucky Strike Road off of Highway 158. Much of the winding hike is wooded and has views of Mummy Mountain and Angel Peak. It is an easy to moderate hike with 650 feet of elevation gain.
